THE GOLDEN AGE

The Golden Age of sports cars laid the foundation for quite a few car legends in the ‘60s.  This era was characterized by rapid technical developments and an "anything goes” attitude. This set is over 30 ft. long and includes a dangerous crossing and a variety of twists and turns.  Included in the set are two automotive icons. 

The Ferrari 330 P4 of the Equipe Nationale Belge, as it was used in Le Mans in 1967, is powered by a four-litre V12-engine with triple-valve cylinder heads and an output of 450 hp. Its opponent is the Porsche Carrera 6 of Porsche’s Works Team powered by a racing version of the 911 flat-six with a 2-litre capacity and an output of 210 hp as it was participating in the 1000 km Nürburgring in 1966. Both 1:24 scale cars are equipped with a newly designed chassis and special lighting; Xenon-effect front lights and rear lights with a brake light function.
