"Homestead 2003"

Probably the most modified Porsche GT1 Evo in motorsport history: raced in the USA, cut open and fitted with a tubeframe in 1999 to let it run in LMP-class, abandoned for one year, resurrected and brought to race-ready condition, rejected from competition at the track, refitted with a roof in almost no-time to be eligible for the 24-hour endurance-classic in Daytona and the 2003 Grand-Am season. Hidden under the bodywork, the normally aspirated engine of a Porsche GT3 RS provides the horsepower, a concession to be able to compete in the GTS-class.
